MOORING MASTER

Placement: FPSO
Joining port: GUYANA

JOB DESCRIPTION

MISSION:
• Ensure mooring and unmooring operations are carried out safely and efficiently.
• Lead and supervise tanker mooring, unmooring and offloading operations in compliance with Company and project procedures.
• Act as the main reference for ship/shore interface during offloading activities.

TASKS:
• Plan, coordinate and execute mooring and unmooring operations for shuttle tankers.
• Verify vessel suitability and certification prior to mooring operations.
• Ensure compliance with IMS procedures, work instructions and safety standards.
• Participate in the development and review of IMS procedures related to mooring and offloading.
• Train and supervise personnel involved in mooring, unmooring and hose connection/disconnection activities.
• Monitor technical parameters, weather conditions and operational limits.
• Develop and review risk assessments, including emergency unmooring and disconnection scenarios.
• Ensure mooring equipment and offloading hoses are properly maintained, certified and fit for use.
• Report and investigate unsafe acts, near misses, incidents and accidents.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:
• Valid STCW certification as per international regulations.
• Relevant national Certificate of Competency and endorsement (as applicable).

Experience:
• Proven experience as Mooring Master on FPSO or offshore oil & gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of tanker offloading, mooring systems and offshore marine operations.
• High safety awareness and leadership skills.
