JOB DESCRIPTION
MISSION:
• Support safe, efficient and compliant mooring, unmooring and offloading operations under the guidance of the Mooring Master.
• Act as deputy to the Mooring Master during all relevant mooring and offloading activities.
TASKS:
• Assist the Mooring Master in planning and executing mooring and unmooring operations.
• Verify suitability and certification of visiting vessels prior to mooring operations.
• Coordinate ship/shore interfaces and communications during offloading activities.
• Monitor technical parameters, weather conditions and operational limits.
• Ensure compliance with IMS procedures, work instructions and safety standards.
• Assist in hose connection and disconnection, tanker position keeping and offloading operations.
• Ensure mooring, unmooring and offloading equipment is inspected, maintained, certified and fit for use.
• Support training and supervision of personnel involved in mooring and offloading operations.
• Report unsafe acts, near misses, incidents and accidents in accordance with Company procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
• Valid STCW certification as per international regulations.
• Relevant national Certificate of Competency and endorsement (as applicable).
Experience:
• Previous experience as Mooring Master Assistant or in similar offshore marine roles.
• Experience on FPSO or offshore oil & gas projects considered a strong advantage.
• Strong safety awareness, teamwork and communication skills.
