JOB DESCRIPTION
- Assist and carry out maintenance activities as to ensure the safe and efficient functioning of Vessel. - Coordinate and carry out maintenance activities so as to ensure the safe and efficient functioning of all plant and machinery, and all instrument I control systems under Maintenance Superintendent guidelines. - Supervise Mechanical technicians, Mechanics, and other team members when carry out maintenance activities so as to ensure the safe and efficient functioning of all plant and machinery, including machinery from engine room, including machinery and equipment related to the Maintenance and Catering Departments, and emergency equipment. - Supervise and assist with all maintenance activities on mechanical or other plant and equipment. - Ensure that all of the equipment used, workshops, work areas, are always maintained in a clean and tidy condition. - Assist other departs as required. - Ensure that the PTW system and maintenance operations procedures are adhered to. - Ensure that all maintenance work is carried out in a safe and responsible manner, and in compliance with requirements and provisions of safety and corporate management systems, Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the Maintenance Superintendent. - Safeguarding the welfare of himself and fellow crewmembers. - Ensure that the FPSO Waste Management policy is followed - Ensure that all maintenance personnel: Are familiar with Client HS&E policies; Understand their emergency response duties and that Client Health. Safety. Environment and Quality Policy is clearly understood as well as the HSEQ MS Roles and Responsibilities. - Safety Critical Functions: Participate in all emergency drills with duties as determined by the Station Bill and Emergency Response Manual
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous FPSO experience;
- Proven experience in a Engine Room Supervisor role or similar position aboard FPSOs or tankers.
- In-depth knowledge of international regulations related to maritime safety, pollution prevention
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in international teams.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions in emergencies.
- Certificate of Competency III/2 C/Eng unlimited ;
