JOB DESCRIPTION
Mission:
Contribute to a safe engineering watch in a manned engine-room or designated to perform duties in a periodically unmanned engine-room. Perform the marine engineering function at support level as indicated in regulation III/4 and/or III/5. Execute the assigned work tasks within the frame of own responsibilities and/or qualifications. Maintain safe working practices .
Tasks:
- Report to Engineer on watch, execute the assigned work tasks within the frame of own responsibilities
- Assist with engine room operations and watch keeping
- Carry out maintenance as directed by own STCW regulation
REQUIREMENTS
- Holds III/4 Certificate
- Must have 4 years of offshore experience onboard Construction and/or Heavy lift vessels in the position of Eng. Watch Rating
- Proficient in English
