JOB DESCRIPTION

• Oversee the engine room, ensuring all machinery operates safely, efficiently, and environmentally compliant.
• Maintain and repair engines, electrical systems, and other mechanical equipment.
• Assist the Chief Engineer in planning and executing maintenance schedules.
• Manage fuel consumption and energy efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and safety standards.
• Supervise and train junior engineering staff.
• Collaborate with the deck department to ensure smooth vessel operations.

REQUIREMENTS

• National III/2 Second Engineer unlimited CoC (or higher) and endorsement
• Consolidate experience as Second Engineer on board Container Ship
• Holder of C1D US Visa
• Valid STCW certificates
• Good communication skills in English, strong problem- solving and leadership qualities.
• Familiar with Reefer container
• Experienced in Electro/hydraulic Cranes
• AMOS PMS
