JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

Command and operate the vessel safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all marine laws and regulations.
Oversee the Dynamic Positioning (DP) operations and maintain the DP2 system.
Coordinate and manage all activities on board, including navigation, safety, crew management, and cargo operations.
Ensure effective communication with offshore teams and onshore support facilities.
Conduct regular drills and training sessions for the crew to ensure readiness for all operations and emergencies.
Implement and oversee compliance with the company’s safety and environmental policies.

Additional Skills:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a DP Master on similar type vessels.
Z-Drive Experience.
Strong knowledge of DP systems, preferably with Kongsberg DP systems.
Proven leadership skills and experience in managing multicultural teams.
Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
Must be familiar with the operational and regulatory specifics of the maritime region of Egypt.
