JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Full DP Master to command large Platform Supply Vessels (AHTS) of approximately 6,000 Gross Tonnage (GT). The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the safe navigation and operation of the vessel, managing the deck crew, and ensuring compliance with all international maritime regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Command and navigate large AHTS vessels safely and efficiently.
Operate Dynamic Positioning (DP) systems with precision.
Ensure the vessel complies with maritime laws and regulations as well as company policies.
Manage and supervise the activities of the deck department.
Coordinate with the shore base to ensure effective communication and operations.
Oversee the loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring stability and safety.
Maintain accurate logs and records as required by law and company policy.
Conduct regular safety drills and training with crew members.

Additional Skills:

Extensive experience in navigating and managing large AHTS vessels or similar.
Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a diverse crew.
Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
Proven record of adhering to strict safety and regulatory standards.
