JOB DESCRIPTION
Vessel Type: Offshore unit engaged in pipeline installation, trenching, subsea operations and ROV & Diving support.
Embarkation: To be confirmed according to project schedule.
Contract Type: Collaboration on a long-term basis.
Main Responsibilities
• Operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of all onboard electrical, electronic, automation and control systems.
• Management of medium, low and extra-low voltage systems.
• Diagnosis and interventions on DP systems, automation, switchboards, generators, electric motors, converters, transformers, lighting and power distribution systems.
• Technical support on winches, tensioners, pipelay/ramp systems, trenching machinery, offshore cranes and subsea lifting equipment.
• Maintenance and monitoring of automation systems (IAS, VMS, PMS or equivalents), including SCADA/HMI interfaces.
• Support to critical offshore operations involving pipelaying, recovery, subsea handling and ROV/Diving activities.
• Verification of compliance with IMO, SOLAS, ISM and Class requirements (DNV, ABS, RINA, LR, BV).
• Participation in emergency drills and immediate response to failures affecting critical systems.
• Maintenance of technical documentation and maintenance records.

REQUIREMENTS
• Valid Electro-Technical Officer Certificate – STCW Reg. III/6.
• Updated mandatory STCW training certificates.
• DP Maintenance certificate with documented experience on DP systems (preferably DP2).
• Proven technical experience on offshore units involved in pipelaying, construction, trenching, dredging, ROV support or similar operations.
• Excellent knowledge of marine electrical systems, automation and control systems.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills on power systems and complex electronic components.
• Good knowledge of networking and IT infrastructure.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, power analyzers, SCADA/HMI systems, OTDR, etc.
• Good command of the English language.
• Preferential: Italian language proficiency.
• Preferential: Possession of a valid Italian Endorsement.
