JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full DP Chief Mate to join our team aboard a PSV vessels. The successful candidate will be responsible for the navigation, safety, and overall operation of the vessel, ensuring compliance with all maritime laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the safe navigation and operation of the vessel, adhering to strict safety protocols.
Manage and supervise the deck crew, ensuring all tasks are performed efficiently and safely.
Operate dynamic positioning (DP) systems to maintain vessel stability and positioning.
Conduct regular safety drills and training to ensure crew readiness in case of emergencies.
Collaborate with the Captain and other senior officers to plan and execute vessel operations.
Maintain accurate logs and records of vessel operations, crew activities, and safety procedures.
Monitor weather conditions and make navigational decisions accordingly.

- Minimum 6 months experience on board big DP2 PSV vessels (over 3000GT) as DPO Chief Mate

- Full DP certificate
- Fluent English
- COVID-19 vaccination
